December.29.2010 Review in the December Issue of ARTnews The Spyfrost Project exhibition at DNJ Gallery, Los Angeles, was reviewed in the December issue of ARTnews magazine. Here's an excerpt: "Throughout the show, Trautrimas provided stark yet creative combinations of silvery structures and vast, unpopulated landscapes. An observant viewer could take pleasure in the tiny details, such as a perfectly integrated door and a glint of reflected green in an expanse of silver. The official description as follows: The 2010 Multiple, "Post House", produced with the invaluable assistance of the Rapid Prototyping Lab at OCAD University, features a snap-fit, three-dimensional model that echoes the evolution of Trautrimas' practice from analog to digital production methods, marrying new production technologies with the playfulness of the snap-fit wooden model.
